Hi guys! It's me, Julia, checking in with a little blog post to keep ya going on this warm Wednesday afternoon. And to announce the winner of our Classic Book Contest! YAY!! :)
While I'm busily working on album design at my home base (J&M are off on a shoot today) I have Top Chef Masters on in the background. Seriously, I don't know what I ever did before Bravo. It is essential to my life. Pandora and I are currently in a fight, (too many ill-matched songs crowding my Ke$ha mix), so I am using the TV as background noise today instead. And it was background, until just now, seriously until like five seconds ago- when I was forced to stop working and take notice. Because, one of the judges just used the word subterfuge to describe someone's monkfish seasoning. Really? Subterfuge? It's a good thing I've started my literary adventures because I haven't heard that word since a vocabulary drill for the SAT's. I think I may just need to use that one the next time a waitress asks me if everything is ok. Anyway....
In honor of Top Chef Master's I thought I would share something I love from my refrigerator.
We are obsessed with Cindy's Kitchen salad dressings and marinades this Summer! So obsessed that we have at least four kinds in our refrigerator right now! Cindy totally uses a subterfuge of rosemary to compliment her Roasted Garlic Vinaigrette! What?!? Did I pull it off? Sorry, I just couldn't help myself!! But seriously, we recommend the Greek with Feta & Black Olive, the Wild Maine Blueberry, and the Rosemary and Roasted Garlic Vinaigrette. Among LOTS of others. They are all simply fantastic!!
So, tell me, what is your go to dressing of choice? We eat a lot of salad around here and are always looking for the next big thing!! :)
Enough about me! And more about you guys!! I bet you want to know who won the gorgeous classic from Anthropologie!!
Well, congrats to Stacy!!Just shoot us an email with your address and the book of your choice and we'll get you taken care of right away!!
